Grasping the brush, letting colors race.

Taking up the pen, weaving words.

Striking keys, drawing the bow, shaping sound.

Arranging beauty, creating a space celebrating light.

The scenery that lies between the abstract and the concrete.
A world that vanishes unless we gently draw it near.
Sharp yet tender, painful yet rich ─ an achingly beautiful landscape.

If there’s anything we can preserve with our hands, we adorn it, purify it like a ritual, and entrust it to an act we call art.

Moonlight, Pictures at an Exhibition ─ the words through which this landscape finds its voice.

…僕は海に潜る。深く深くまで。
僕の海なのだから、どこまでも潜れるのだ。
海面に波が立ち、小魚が群れで泳ぐ。
それを追ってきたマッコウクジラが
ゆっくりと海面に出る。まるでイエローサブマリンだ。

麦畑はどこまで行っても麦畑だ。
それは僕のための麦畑なのだ
いつかその麦を踏んで、くるみパンを作って食べよう。

A pianist who loves little birds

She shares a bit of the birds’ food with sparrows and pigeons outside.

She spends her time with her beloved birds, freely touching the piano whenever she wishes. In lessons, she finds joy in her students’ growth. In concerts, she hopes to bring joy to her audience.
